If you serve brick-and-mortar businesses, you probably find yourself going through the process of starting a new Google My Business account from scratch
You will successfully create a new Google Business Profile to manage your business account or your client’s business
Why it matters
A Google Business Profile account is fundamental for businesses that have a physical presence (either in a brick-and-mortar location or by servicing an area). A Google Business Profile account allows potential customers to easily find you when performing Google Searches for businesses in an area
Before you start
Depending on whether you have a physical store or office, Google will require you to record a business verification video to confirm your business’s existence. If your business does not operate from a customer-facing location, you will need to provide a phone number where Google can send an authentication code for verification. In either case, make sure your phone is nearby and ready
