1 Get Reddit Pixel ID in Reddit Ads 3
- Sign in at Reddit to the correct advertiser.
- Click on the menu button on the top left. Go to "Events Manager" and open "Reddit Pixel". Click "Create Pixel" if prompted.
- Copy the Pixel ID.
2 Add Reddit Pixel tag in GTM 10
- Go to Google Tag Manager and select the correct web container.
- Create a new tag by clicking "Tags", then clicking "New".
- Next, click "Tag Configuration".
- Open "Discover more tag types in the Community Template Gallery".
- Search "Reddit" and add the official Reddit Pixel template from the "Community Template Gallery" to the workspace.
- If you have not already, click "Add to workspace".
- Enter the Pixel ID and set the event to fire to "Page Visit".
- Scroll down and set triggering to "All Pages".
- Name the tag to "Reddit – PageVisit – All Pages" and click "Save".
- You should now see your new Reddit Pixel tag listed under "Tags".

- To test your tags on the live site, click "Preview" in GTM and connect "Tag Assistant" with the site URL.
- Load a few key pages on the site in the same browser session.
- Confirm in Tag Assistant that the "Reddit – PageVisit – All Pages" tag fires on each page load. You should see this tag firing successfully on every page you visit.
- Confirm in Reddit Pixel Helper that a page visit event is detected with no errors. Look for a "Page Visit" event with a green check and no error messages.
- Click "Submit" in GTM and enter the "Version Name" as "Add Reddit Pixel PageVisit". Then, click "Publish".
4 Verify signal in Reddit Ads 4
- Load a real page view. Open the published live site (not preview) and visit a page.
- Go to Reddit > "Events Manager" > and look for recent activity.
- You should now see at least one "PageVisit" event under recent activity.
- If nothing appears, wait up to a few hours and then check again. Pixel data can sometimes take time to show in Reddit Ads.
